Monkey Land & Ecotrail Mountain Bike

The next 45 minutes are spent in a guided tour of Monkeyland where you will interact in close proximity with our beautiful and friendly squirrel monkeys. These charming and intelligent monkeys have been formed by a Canadian couple with more than 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo teaching monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans. This tour is based on 5 acres of a beautiful piece of land that monkeys have made their home. Finish your adventure by winding down at our Mountain Ranch and feasting on the most delicious traditional Dominican food.

At the end of the interaction in Monkeyland continues towards a wonderful ride on our new Fat Bike Tour Amateur, this journey has been designed for the ones who dare to jump in a new form of alternative tourism. You will receive a brief training to the Mountain Bikes handling, as well an explanation about the surrounding environment.

Made for beginners, the route consist of 1 km of marvelous landscapes of the Anamuya Mountain and Runners Adventures Park, where you will be able to see how other visitors pass right above you thru our Zip Lines and if you are lucky, along the trail you will also get to see the adorable squirrel monkeys in our reserve, also we will make a stop in the river to re-charge you. Then enjoy the best typical Dominican buffet in our Mountain Ranch.

Continue your tour with a visit to the coconut house or “Casa del Coco” to learn how coconut oil is produced and to taste fresh organic products such as exotic Caribbean fruits, roasted coffee and cacao.

13:00 a 14:00 Lunch, enjoy a typical Dominican buffet in our Mountain Ranch.
14:00 - 13:00 Arrival to “La Casa del coco” to see how coconut oil is made, try fresh coffee and chocolate and have a chance to purchase local products.
15:00 Transfer back to hotels.
16:00 Approximate arrival at hotels.
