This is the private version of our # 1 tour we offer. You will have a private minibus, a private speedboat and a private tour guide - there is no private beach at Soana - within a possible margin you determine at what time to be picked up, where to stay longer etc.
Saona & Altos de Chavon - THE # 1 TOUR to book.
there are 3 different ways to go to Saona:
1.) the classic Saona Island tour with speedboat & catamaran (which you can buy directly in the hotel for around U$ 50 to 70)
2.) some tours which go to "Canto de la Playa" which is a nice virgin beach (no bathrooms) almost at the southeast end of the island (sometimes high waves to go there and far away)
&
3.) our combination of a visit of Altos de Chavon (one of the # 1 attractions here in the country) a speedboat ride at the so called Apocalypse Now river Rio Chavon and Saona by speedboat
all mentioned tours stop at the "Piscinca Natural" - (google "piscina natural saona" and see by yourself)

Itinerary:
08:00 08:30 am (suggested) Hotel pick-up (you will get the exact pick up time in the confirmation mail)
08:45 am Bus ride to Casa de Campo
09:15 am Arrival at Altos de Chavon
10:15 am We go down to the river Rio Chavon and take our speed boats
10:30 am speed boat ride along the Apocalypse Now river and then along the cost towards the National Park "Parque Nacional del Este"
11:30 am Arrival at the "Piscina Natural" where we stay around 30 min. to have a look at the Starfish and have some "Vitaminas"
12:00 pm We continue to the Saona Island
12:15 pm Arrival at Saona - barbecue style lunch at the beach with open bar and time to swim, snorkel etc.
03:00 pm Speedboat ride back to the mainland to the fisher village Bayahibe
03:45 pm Arrival at Bayahibe
04:00 pm Bus ride back to your hotel
04:15 pm Arrival at your hotel
